Dice Game

We played this game during our Construction Theme in preschool

I love this game for number practice.  There is practice with number identification and counting as well, using both the numeral and the dots on the dice.

We used the light table for this activity just because I wanted an excuse to get it out. :D

The rules for this game is very loose so you can change it up a bit.  You can put it in a page protector and use  dry erase markers, print of multiple copies and use regular markers, or you can find some pieces for movement.

I printed one copy and we used our pattern pieces for moving.  

The rules were whichever piece gets to the other side first wins.  So the Dragons weren't really playing against each other and there wasn't 1 winner.  

Both Dragons were rolling together to get the pieces to the other side. 

Little Dragon enjoyed throwing his dice and then running to fetch it before counting the dots so he was able to move around while playing the game.

Thunder Dragon was more content keeping the dice close to him.

I do hope to get this game out again, it was quick and enjoyable!
