We are so close to the end of our curriculum I am looking forward to outdoor activities :). Our letter focus is y is for you. Bible Our new story is Jesus calls the childrrn. This weeks story is very short, only two pages so we aren't spending a lot of time reading, but this allows for us to have a lot of time for discussion. To go with our theme of "you" we talked about how each child was special to Jesus. Then we took turns telling eachother how the other family members were special to us. This is always a great building/positive activity. I encouraged the Dragons to think of different things then what was already said. Little Dragon has been copiying alot so it helped him come up with ideas. Doll Dragon has been assuming negative things when others are complimented, this was a good activity to see that we are all special in different ways and it is good to appreciate others special qualities without feeling bad about yourself.
