Six Valentines

Six Valentines sit on a shelf
Daddy walks in all by himself
He is looking for a Valentine for his wife
He takes one down now there are five

Five Valentines sit missing one
Athena walks in having fun
She has Valentines but is looking for more
She takes one, now there are four

Four Valentines sit in pairs
Two kids walk for a Valentine to share
They look and look and finally see
A special Valentine, then there were three

Three Valentines looking a little sad
In walks a boy to buy for his dad
He picks the one that is blue
Now on the shelf there sit only two

Two Valentines sit side by side
A girl walks in her hair in a tie
She buys her Valentines then she is done
Leaving on the shelf only one

One Valentine sitting alone
A boy walks to the Valentines zone
He picks the last one
Now there are none
